The interface is a breeze, and we especially like the fact that it supported Variable rate pricing which allowed us to maximize revenues based on which timeframes were the most popular with customers. It also allows us to give refunds when customers come back early which they tell us over and over is a huge reason they love renting from us. Definitely worth including them in your list of software to test. We were able to get it up and rolling in a fraction of the time as other POS systems we have used. It easyily keeps track of over 1000 rental bikes and this newest version is even able to handle our rental car business as well as retail, all in one easy to use package. We succesfully train upwards of ten teenage employees to use this software every year. Looking forward to continue working with this company and continue to make the product even better. ----- ### "Rent It biz" — 2.0/5 > **john** | *15 June 2010* > > **Pros**: The lay out of Rent it biz with its front desk and back office is killer\!\!\! the Idea of rentals is good. but not great yet. The over all idea of rent it biz is better then anyone out there. > > **Cons**: So this software is very limited and I find they will say it can do things it can not do just to sell it. Then when you find out how many kinks it has in the system it becomes more my fault and not the problem of the software. Even after thy tell me there are issues. They just never fix them. Most problems take along time to fix. The reporting only half works. And even though it says it exports to Q books, well that is broke also\! this software has major promise if they could get the right people behind it. For me I am think I need to switch. It was made to make me money and save time but it seems to be the other way around. once you get the rentals set up it works ok but with all the other problems I am not sure it is worth it. > > not sure I would buy this. there a lot of bugs in the program. I could go on for pages. If they can come up with a major overhaul and get everything to work that is set up on there this would be a dream. if you have another POS system and just want to do rental you might like it. but for the money you would be better of with pen and paper for rentals. A few years ago we converted from the old dos version to windows without an issues mainly due to the staff at Rentitbiz. Recently we have been exploring options to expand our business to another location and the service / advice we received from rentitbiz on how to make it work with our software was not only great but very cost effective.
