Reviews of Google Calendar

Great product
Comments: With higher google cloud plans you can manage a lot of different automations or integrations.
Pros:
Easy to use and broadly accepted in terms of business meetings
Cons:
Third party apps not use this service as a part of integration
Alternatives Considered:
Love Google Calendar
Comments: I've set up calendars for personal and business. I like that I can toggle one off to focus on the other. I also have a calendar set up for my wife's business so I can see when she's booked if I need to ensure there are no conflicts.
Pros:
I like that it is available on all the platforms that I use, and that it integrates with GQueues.
Cons:
I'd like to have the solid background colour setting for events with a time rather than just coloured text. I can only get the background colours with "all day" events - so I end up just putting the time in the title.
The good, old standard
Comments: I've been using Google Calendar for years and probably won't switch due to its easy integrations and since I generally know my way around. I hope more improvements will be made in the future, especially in terms of a better Asana integration.
Pros:
Since it's the standard as far as calendar apps, it integrates nearly seamlessly with invitations from Zoom and other third-party apps. It's generally reliable and easy enough to set up.
Cons:
I wish there were a better integration to Asana. It's challenging to manage multiple Google accounts (such as several Gmail inboxes for different clients) and constantly have to ensure your calendar is reflecting the correct Google account. Admittedly, this would be easier on Chrome, but on Firefox it is very clunky. I wish there were a way to checkmark scheduled events as done. Sure, they disappear off your calendar once they've lapsed, but there would be some satisfaction in actually 'checking' them off. Maybe there is a setting somewhere that I don't know about.

Great calendar software
Comments: I have utilized Google Calendar for many years in many different capacities. It has always allowed me to stay organized and to accomplish my goals. Mostly, I have been in sales and marketing, so having a solid calendar software is essential.
Pros:
The calendar works great and also integrates well since we use the Google for Business Suite.
Cons:
I pretty much like everything about it nothing to add.
Alternatives Considered:
Really great calendar platform for every use
Comments: It's probably one of the tools I use the most to organize my life and schedule with everyone in it, whether at work or in my personal life.
Pros:
It's very user-friendly. It has all the features I need, even the new ability to set booking time slots that easily integrate into web pages or Gmail.
Cons:
Too many times, they take valuable features or products off the shelf. Different products that integrate in calendar such as Keep and tasks (as a separate app or in calendar).

Google Calender Review

Event creation and color combination for personal and professional tasks

Been using this for years
Comments: My experience has been great, I’ve been using Google calendar for so long that I couldn’t live without it.
Pros:
That you can easily add, edit and share with others
Cons:
It’s hard to switch between calendars if you have multiple Google accounts.
Simple yet Useful Calendar
Pros:
It added many features, but the best is to be able to update your time zone while booking meetings; also, its mobile widgets have been very helpful at times.
Cons:
It cannot be used to track your day, unlike some of its competitors
Google Calendar
Comments: It provided a simple and organized way for me to keep track of all of my events, appointments and work commitments without unnecessary steps or clunky software.
Pros:
It is very simple and easy to use and connect your different calendars through.
Cons:
That I was not able to immediately sync up all of my events from my existing ios calendar.
Date for appointments and important day marking.
Pros:
I use good calendar to mark important days in month/ year to ensure time management and got altered on that to eliminate errors and forgetting.
Cons:
Google calendar is easy and can be used by anyone

Manage business and personal schedule easily
Comments: Great for calendar management, appointments, reminders, tasks, etc
Pros:
Simple diary management with integrations to popular scheduling and conf apps. Merges personal and business calendars for overall availability and scheduling
Cons:
sometimes feels difficult to import events, but not a big issue
Alternatives Considered:
Google Calendar-Easy Peasy
Comments: Google Calendar is easy to use, making it efficient for managing tasks.
Pros:
It is straightforward to use. I always feel that Google is made for idiots. Anyone can figure it out!
Cons:
If your settings are not set to private, everyone will be able to see your calendar.
Google Calendar is the best calendar app that has the most integrations
Comments: I was initially using the Apple Calendar app, but since using GCal, I've moved over and never used the apple calendar again. It has been intuitive, efficient, and so simple. I've never had an issue with it. Even when integrating with other platforms or apps.
Pros:
The straightforwardness of the UI, easy integration with a lot of SaaS platforms and having standalone apps for all my devices (phone, laptop, tablet)
Cons:
Nothing, quite honestly. It does what it does, and it does it well.
Best Calendar for Meetings
Comments: Overall, I would choose Google Calendar over anything else. It keeps me organized.
Pros:
I like Google calendar because you can easily schedule meetings and maintain your entire schedule in one place with options for events, tasks etc. Meetings through Google calendar are also very simple and efficient. My favourite place to hold meetings. It also has an app.
Cons:
There used to be more functions in the events/tasks. One of my favourites was removed and just converted into tasks. The phone app also has a hard time integrating with my laptop. For example, if I delete an event out of my phone, sometimes it still appears on my laptop and has to be deleted twice.
One of the best calendar alternatives and easiest to use.
Comments: Although I use Outlook Calendar more daily, Google Calendar has always been part of my apps because it was used by several companies where I worked. I never had any trouble and found the interface very intuitive.
Pros:
I like the simplicity of use, the clean interface and that it integrates easily with other Google Workspace tools. Tags are also great for multiple calendars.
Cons:
Notification customization can be tricky and limited. It would be great to have more alternatives to tailor alerts according to needs or times of the day. However, it would be a "nice to have" but does not give it negative points.
google calender daily usage review
Comments: good overall experience it's fast and updates wellwhen people accept meetings. could be better when trying to view 5+ peoples calendars but maybe I'm asking too much
Pros:
being able to create meetings withing the calendar
Cons:
not great to be able to see other peoples availability as the user flow is a bit odd
Streamlining Productivity: My Positive Experience with Google Calendar
Comments: My overall experience with Google Calendar has been very positive. It’s incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to schedule and manage events. The ability to share calendars with team members has significantly enhanced our collaboration, allowing everyone to stay informed about meetings and deadlines. I appreciate the integration with other Google tools, which streamlines our workflow. The reminders and notifications help keep us on track, and the option to set up recurring events saves a lot of time. Plus, the accessibility from any device means we can stay organized whether we’re in the office or on the go. Overall, it has greatly improved our productivity and communication within the team.
Pros:
Google Calendar allows team members to share calendars, making it easy to coordinate meetings and events. This transparency helps everyone stay on the same page. The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate, which helps employees quickly find and manage their schedules.
Cons:
I dont have any that I see. Sometimes it does not sink as well with people who use outlook for email.
My Google Calendar Experience
Comments: You can schedule your time and share it with others to schedule their time around yours. This is what makes Google Calendar unique.
Pros:
The ease of use and ability to integrate Google Calendar into my daily activities. I can easily automate and set schedules without stress.
Cons:
It's a bit difficult to integrate multiple email addresses into one.
Life is better with Google calendar
Comments:
Love it overall. I work 3 jobs, owned 2 businesses, so being able to pop into my calendar and see all 3 from 2 different platforms plus Google calendar schedule made my life much simpler and more fluid.
It's also made it easier to schedule in clients, and send them a quick email confirming they're in, and them being able to RSVP. It has a lot of different options for those who have a more chaotic schedule but need to stay organized.
Pros:
Ease of use, and ability to link calendar to many other platforms for work, including Noterro for business, Google email for flights/appointments etc. I love the search option, when it came time to navigate my past appointments I could simply search in the type or location and it was able to pull up all of them from the first time I started using calendar.
Cons:
Too few colours for tasks/appointments. I use it so frequently and would love to see more colour options available as it helps with remembering exactly what's been booked that day.
Google Calendar is an incredibly powerful scheduling and task tracking tool
Comments: Overall, I'm very happy with Google Calendar and the functionality that is built in to the product. The integration with GMail and Tasks makes it incredibly easy to create events and track to-dos.
Pros:
Intelligent calendar event creation from emails; ability to color code different types of events; the scheduling feature is impressive for a built-in tool.
Cons:
Sometimes I've noticed that when I delete an event, even if I specify *not* to send a notification, it still does. This can be annoying for team members who are no longer invited (or no longer with the company).
Great Calendar for work or home
Pros:
It can be used for both work and home, and the fact that the two calendars can be synced to avoid schedule conflicts is fantastic. Having reminders for meetings and appointments is a lifesaver.
Cons:
Sometimes the reminders can be overwhelming when you have them set for several calendars and the sync does not recognize the same appointment on multiple calendars, so you may get doubles of one appointment
Consistent and reliable
Comments: Overall, it's been great. I've been using it for years and never switched to another tool.
Pros:
Google Calendar makes it quick and easy to schedule meetings, send invitations, and add people to the meeting. It works seamlessly with my note-taking app and other integrations, saving me time and stress.
Cons:
I wish it integrated with the iPhone more seamlessly. It sometimes seems like they're not compatible. I frequently have to log in to the calendar on my phone, which is frustrating and time-consuming.
Google Calendar has saved my life!
Comments: I have a great experience with Google Cale dar, and I highly suggest it for any business owner who needs a way to keep their schedule in order and on track.
Pros:
There are so many pros when it comes to Google Calendar. 1. Its FREE 2. Allows multiple profiles 3. Allows real time scheduling 4. It sends reminders for stuff you have coming up 5. Makes it so I'm not over booking myself and losing customers
Cons:
I don't think I have anything bad to say about google calalendars because honestly it has saved my life and my business. No more losing out because I over booked myself.
Google Calendar keeps me organized
Comments: I’ve been using Google Calendar for years now. I’ve used it with all my clients, for work, personal, social media, and school.
Pros:
I love Google Calendar. I love the syncability it has. I can add all my important calendars for work, business, events, home, family, personal, etc. I can color code and see everything in a month’s glance. I love that it has an app as well. Makes it so much easier to use on my phone and tablet. All of my clients usually use Google Calendars as well so it makes it easy for us to sync calendars and dates. You can add links for Zoom, Skype, and other platforms for meetings, classes and more. Add addresses for specific places so you can tap and get directions to where you’re going.
Cons:
I wish there were a few more color options for an even more customized calendar but other than that I love it.
Google Calendar: Consider it Done and Done!
Comments: It's a great way to simplify your life, manage business and personal matters and collaborate with others in terms of scheduling. I recommend it for a range of users regardless of their technical skill level as there is still a great deal of usability for any level. While it doesn't check ALL the boxes in the area of scheduling and time management, for a free tool, it's extremely robust.
Pros:
I like the ease of integration with 3rd party apps, functionality, standard and advanced features that are customizable and compatible, the ability to share calendars and manage multiple calendars easily. It makes staying organized a cinch as it's very user friendly and the fully customizable reminders are also a huge plus.
Cons:
The biggest concern I have is matters of privacy due to the wide range of access to confidential information and contacts and also the volume of targeted marketing ads leaves cause for pause. In terms of competitors, I do believe it still provides better security than most.
