> **Cons**: The vast majority of it was very easy, the hardest part was getting the details required for the Gemini bank account. Everything else was like the classic web plug-in.

> The Giving Block have been incredibly helpful about integrating and promoting the product. Always very generous with their support and encouragement which has been really helpful as I venture into this new revenue stream. In particular, the advice they provided about the page set-up etc, it really has been notably better than other plugins.

> **Cons**: TGB sales agents promised returns (via our share of donations made to causes and general funds) that would easily cover our cost of participation ($2500/year).  "You'll see way more than what it costs you\!" they repeatedly said. Yet our "share" has turned out to be less than half our annual cost.  TGB did not provide any donor information or any way for us to follow up with donors.  Their campaigns were only focused on bringing crypto investors that we already knew into TGB. There was never any interest or effort on introducing our nonprofit to the crypto audience they already knew about.  We got nothing for our membership except a profile page on their platform.  We even made efforts to use a more descriptive title as our header on that page, but were refused any changes beyond the official tax identity of the organization.   They promised monthly reports of activity in the :special interest funds that we were entitled to share (our non=profit was part of their "environmental" fund) but they never reported a thing.  Nothing on our account dashboard showed the fund activity.  No transparency at all. When we inquired why there were continued months with no activity, they replied that data hadn't been processed yet.

> We joined TGB because we wanted their help to connect with socially-minded crypto investors and to get our message out to them.  The only thing TGB wanted was for TGB to connect with any crypto investors we already had, so that those donors would become incorporated into the TGB system.  Not to help us expand our audience.  Since we didn't already have any crypto investors (our donor demographic is older, rural and  not tech savvy) TGB has been of no help at all.

Before 2020, I didn’t know much about cryptocurrency. As a nonprofit CEO, I look at the dollars sitting in our bank account every day, so I constantly think about how to raise more dollars. The thought of raising crypto felt so abstract, like trying to find Monopoly money in the dark. It just didn’t feel real, and I was more than a bit skeptical.

But then our Development and Communications Manager persistently advocated for us to accept crypto like Bitcoin with The Giving Block. The Giving Block invited us to be a beneficiary of its spring campaigns. Soon after, $42,335 USD, converted from cryptocurrency, hit our bank account\! That completely changed my view on the power of crypto donations.

> **Cons**: It's hard to predict what the flow of cryptocurrency revenue will be, as donations are usually tied to one-off bigger special events. It can also be hard to see the exact USD value of a donation when it's mixed with others in a cash transfer.
