New risk register was created in Synergi as the previous register was out-of-date and no longer relevant. All the groups policies were put into Synergi and I was able to map across all the controls that are relevant to each policy and was given a visible view of how compliant each policies was. A full audit of ISO27001 can be completed in Synergi with the addition of adding remediation’s and actions. > > **Cons**: Reporting needs a bit of work. The default reports don't cover the aspects required and have to be requested. It would be nice to have them all to start with. > > I joined the Smart Metering division of Amey in February 2018 to replace an existing vacancy they had outstanding for 18 months without a previous IS manager being in place. Smart Metering had held an existing ISO27001 certification and had an upcoming surveillance audit coming up within 3 months.
