> **Pros**: What I liked most about this software was it was easy for me to learn. I am not an excavator. I am the wife of an excavator. I knew nothing about earthwork I learned the program very quickly and now am able to do all of his takeoffs.
> 
> **Cons**: Now that I have a few years experience there are a few things I would suggest adding to the program such as support that doesn't cost more money as the program itself is very expensive.
> 
> The program is very beneficial to calculate any earthwork totals and is very easy to navigate. I am very satisfied with the program and it has saved us so much time in the bidding process.

> **Pros**: Automatic grading line trace. 
Being able to see the grading plan in a 3D view is very helpful when it comes to checking your work.
> 
> **Cons**: I have had a number of issues with updating the software, but tech support was quick to get back to me. 
There are certain views that don't have a print option. I got around this by pressing the "Print Screen" button on my keyboard.

> Being able to click on a grading line and have the software automatically trace the line saves me countless hours. I had the old version of Earthworks at my previous company and it would take me an entire day to manually trace the grading plans. Now I am able to do that same amount of work in under an hour.
