My overall experience with Excel software has been mixed. On the one hand it is very smart software and good at keeping track of expenditures and keeping book of finances provided I fill it in correctly. On the other hand I make mistakes with Excel software all the time and consequently it works my formulas out wrong until I can find the mistake within my own data that I had inputted. It has a learning curve and until you find the time to master it properly it will frustrate to some degree.
Pros:
What I like most about using Excel software is that it carries all of the weight of your business finances in one neat form. This software is brilliant at doing the math for you when it comes to putting your staff payments in an orderly fashion and in categorizing different dates, months, expenditures and even working out weekly budgets for your business.
Cons:
What I like least about using Excel software is that it is difficult to use. It is hard to understand and to come to grips with when you are using it for the first few times. Even longer sometimes if you do not use the software that often. You will need to watch a few self help videos beforehand and even read a few tutorials in order to use this software at first but the capabilities that Excel has once understood and if taught correctly is vast. This software can do so much for your business.

Overall my experience is excellent. It is one of my main tools for data analysis and reporting at work.
Pros:
Excel is very powerful. I like the advanced formulas, data analysis, and flexibility for complex reports. The price also is very affordable.
Cons:
It has a learning curve. Some features are not very intuitive at the beginning, but using AI Copilot nowadays could help.

"Excel, a way of life"

Great have been using it for more than 10 years. You can almost do anything in Excel, especially if your pair it with PowerBI.
Pros:
Great value for money, customer support is not relevant as you do not use more than enough to find online. Navigation is very natural. Finding a bug in Excel is near impossible.
Cons:
It does not work well on mobile devices. Also on Mac there is limited availability of all the functionalities you will find on Windows. For me this limits my use, especially in combination with PowerBI and templates.
