Great Support, Product Needs Some Streamlining

4.0 last year

Comments: Overall the software can be relied upon, its robust once set up and is highly customisable. The Ui is quite awkward and convoluted at times and takes time to learn. Support is great:- very quick to respond to issues and are willing to spend the time to work through problems to ensure they are fixed.

Pros:

Great support from the ideagen team, willing to help build your software install and spend hours troubleshooting issues. support is often quick and concise.

Cons:

Sometimes a very convoluted product, the UI has been added to for a number of years and could do with some refactoring/streamlining.

Overall a great Quality Management system

5.0 10 months ago

Comments: Overall a great system to use, I find the training courses created by my department very intuaitive. I use the system to pull off training data for our monthly and weekly reports which is great for showing numbers on the training progress within various departments.

Pros:

The system is straight forward to use with some excellent features.

Cons:

It might be better to have more trending in terms of graphs and charts for presenting to senior management.

Quality and Reporting Management system

3.0 last year

Pros:

The software has various modules and is configurable to your liking. You can customise the workflow to your preferences and have the ability to build forms and templates yourself. It also has an easy access management module. You can also set up workflows for stages with different actions depending on the workflow you need.

Cons:

The software lacks a proper reporting application for operational staff. In addition, there is no suitable place for administering safety impact risk assessments in line with aviation regulations.

Quality Management

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: Poor customer support. Often left with issues unresolved or attempt to resolve myself. Good product for document control and error reporting.

Pros:

Good product. Reliable. Easily accessible. Desktop client most user friendly.

Cons:

Poor customer support. Occurrence module has a known defect for creating forms - yet to be fixed so currently unusable. Dashboards only available in Web version. Rejected drafts do not display on workload page. Documents due for review do not display on user workload page. Training / events module is difficult to use. Web version 7 is not user friendly at all. Analysis data not always accurate.

Q-Pulse - a comprehensive and customizable Quality Management System

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Comprehensive and customizable system. It does well what it's supposed to do.

Pros:

Documentation Control and CAPA/Workflow modules work well and allow my organization to maintain compliance and improve our internal processes. Supplier Control and Audit module also perform well.

Cons:

User interface is dated and sometimes software is not the most intuitive to use.

Great customer support!

4.0 10 months ago

Pros:

The customer support is great! A very personalised service with a dedicated account manager for our account. This keeps us organised and means that requests are actioned quickly. The system is logical and relatively easy to use from a supplier approval point of view.

Cons:

The templates can be restrictive to adjust if you want to amend the SAQ and spec template. You cannot view the portal from the customer perspective so can be difficult to assist with enquires, although our dedicated QADEX support manager is always on hand to help.

Solid product with potential to do so much more if some simple things are improved

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Its a good system that our staff are used to. it helps me perform my job and allows us to provide the evidence and assurance we need and expect from a QMS. parts should be improved but its still a vitaluable tool we use every day and one my organstion could not live without. (please just take some time to listen to us).

Pros:

I think document control and audit are 2 of q-pulses strongest modules. i also like the fact that its a system that can cover most of my organisations' QMS needs. having one go-to system that covers mutliple needs is great and means our staff only need to learn and be familiar with one system.Probably the best assett they have is their staff: I have always found the ideagen staff helpful, prefessional and friendly and they have very good support.

Cons:

While i like q-pulse - i do think it can be better: The system can feel old and clunky in places. some simple quality of life improvements have never been implemented - which is unfortunate as with those improvements q-pulse could be so much more. the system does feel old and unloved; parts feel cobbled together as if each module was developed seperatetly. I'm hoping that as Ideagen chooses to move away from the Richclient platform and onto thew web platform - they will do the right thing and decide to invest properly in that development. Hopefully this way, our iwhslist as users will finally be accepted and addressed. As a user who is keen to help the company improve q-pulse, i have been a little disappointed that they dont always seem to listen to their users. i'm still hopeful they will invest more time and realise that listening to us is imporant and the right thing to do - then maybe togther we'll be able to change q-pulse from being a good system to becoming the great system it always promises to be.

Very useful portal for supplier management and complaint management

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Our complaints procedure is definitely a smoother process with all the information held in one place with the ability to extract management information, including visual graphs, to show trend analysis. Our SLA process is now much easier with a standardised form giving no options for interpretation by the supplier on what information is needed.

Pros:

easy to use portal, which you can access all aspects via one single log in. All the relevant information is at your fingertips via the dashboard which is easy to use.

Cons:

The portal can be slow at times due to busy usage, but not excessively so.

Qpulse is a great Quality Management software

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Having used Qpulse now for nearly 15 years, I found it very useful at time for audit when all data is in one central storage area. It also ensure that everyone is using current version of any document

Pros:

We used Qpulse CAPA Module to manage a core process within the company. We then found Audit Module was very useful for managing Internal Audits. Document Module was used as central storage area for ISO documentation.

Cons:

Where one person is named a couple of times within one template, they get an email for every action. Unfortunately they are responsible for a number of separate actions so we had no way around this as we needed each action to be recorded.

Comments: Q-Pulse allows straightforward management of document control, CAPAs, audits and equipment records. Altogether this makes these tasks easier to plan and prioritise

Pros:

Qualtrax - A Customer's View

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: As anyone who has worked with Software knows, software is only half of the package. Customer support, and service comprises the other half. As much as I love the Qualtrax Software, it’s the support and employees that make your company. Every single person I have interacted with has been not only helpful, and friendly, but genuinely kind. The support we have received is stellar and I would recommend Qualtrax for that aspect alone. The site for customers to submit desired features for possible implementation tells me that you take the needs of your customers seriously; that you value our suggestions and needs, which is rare in a company. Usually companies will say they want your feedback but it’s all talk. What you have done to engage your customers in the development process is impressive. Not only did you set the site up you give us feedback on the status of our suggestions. I am truly impressed by your company as a whole. The employees that have worked to help us over the years with setup, updates, renewals and issues have been amazing, I can’t thank them enough.

Pros:

The ability to customize the database to fit our needs. The fact that Qualtrax is constantly updating and striving to add features that will benefit their customers is another desirable aspect. I've never worked with a software company that was so invested in there product. Your employees take pride in the work they do and it only takes five minutes of talking with them to see this.

Cons:

There are some features in regards to the workflows that fall short of allowing us to be truly compliant.

All in one compliance package for sure!

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: With the loss of much of the prior QA staff and more individuals being hired and working remotely training was difficult. With Qualtrax able to made many of the burdensome tasks automated with immediate assignment to support staff and the training is assigned and completed on the individuals time making the process more efficient.

Pros:

The support, the added training through the customer portal, fast support on resolution of questions, the lists goes on and on.

Cons:

Software none. Just wish I had more time to dedicate to the whole process.

Review of Qualsys EQMS

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: The main business problem that has been resolved with having the EQMS is one of compliance. Working in a heavily regulated industry, the EQMS allows us to have full control of documents, staff training, change controls, nonconformances and CAPA investigations,
One of the main benefits that we have realised through implementing EQMS is connectivity with our employees and the Quality Management System. This was paper based before and far from ideal but having it available electronically means that users can access the system anywhere and at any time. This is important when users are located in several different countries.

Pros:

Impact - the document control database is easily the most impactful feature of the software allowing all employees to easily access procedure they require to perform their jobs. Ease of use - the system is easy to use and intuitive after some training. As with any computerised system, it helps when the databases are used routinely. Integration - when all the metadata had been collected, the integration with existing business processes was easy as the organisation was operating a paper based document management system.

Cons:

One of the missing elements is a link from the training database to doc control so that when a new revision of a document is released, an automatic training record should be send to all relevant employees. I have used several other EQMS systems and this functionality is standard. It may be released with version 7 of the database? I feel the training database is not nearly as well developed as the document control db but it is part of the system that is extremely important to our organisation working in a Medical Devices.
