Comments: In addition to its intuitive interface and ease of use, Monday has helped me grow personally in managing tasks and staying on top of work, allowing me to carry out tasks in a professional manner that I was previously unable to do. Furthermore, the creation of reports and detailed project progress analysis are other aspects of this tool that I find exciting.

Pros:

It has a very intuitive and visually appealing interface, which makes it easy to understand, allowing anyone to quickly learn how to use Monday. I enjoy using this tool because it enables real-time collaboration with my colleagues and allows me to automate tasks that need to be completed.

Cons:

Monday can be quite an expensive tool; however, it offers a free version, which allows you to use it without any issues. However, there are paid plans that may make it difficult or prevent access to certain features.

Comments: It's a blast a keeping myself organized with monday.com. I don't know how I survived without it before. I am significantly more organized and have way less stress trying to keep track of what needs done with which projects.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to organize my projects and their tasks using monday.com. I can set request date, due dates, start and end dates. There's a ton of customizability!

Cons:

Their automations are a tease. When you first set up a free account they let you use automations for a couple weeks, and then turn them off. You have to have a paid account to use any automations. Even if a two or three automations were available to a free account would be nice.

Can be so powerful, if you know how to set it up and use it.

Comments: Its a really powerful platform that offers lots of features but you need to be clear on how you want to use it and focus on the important aspects without being distracted by all its different bells and whistles.

Pros:

Digging deeper into the product it can be so powerful with integrations and automations within the software that you can build out some incredible workflows and functionality that spans so many areas of the business.

Cons:

Its quite complex to use properly. We use it for project management mainly but without getting external help I dont think we would be able to get it setup properly.

Reasons for Switching to monday.com: It was super flexible and easy to sign up and get started, despite it then being fairly difficult to get it configured how you need it.

I do like we can coordinate with the team, I like there is check marks to knock off the list.

Comments: My overall experience with monday.com has been amazing. It helps streamline and manage our projects. Everyone on our team stays informed with deadlines, statuses, job responsibilities and the ability to delegate tasks. The application is a great collaborative application.

Pros:

Monday.com allows you to stay ontop of deadlines as well as track statuses on projects. It's a great way to stay collaborative on projects and very effective on keeping users informed.

Cons:

Viewing excel or files similiar to excel sheets do not display correctly through the application. You would have to download the file to view the contents accurately.

Managing Projects with a Strategic Framework

Comments: I use it for project management and collaborate with different teams and it helps me and the team a lot with providing clear and transparent communication channel which helps us not to drop the ball on any specific tasks. Apart from this to look at the entire project governance and helping with the WBS (work breakdown structure) framework as well is a progressive look compared to other project management tools out there.

Pros:

The visibility to look at the status of each project and see daily, weekly updates at a quick glance. Also, the collab function to provide team updates and tag specific person to nudge them about their projects is a great help.

Cons:

The reporting type (graphs) are very basic and limited to a point. I cannot drill it down to the level of detail I need without creating other metric dashboards or cards.

Reasons for Choosing monday.com: To automate and advance from basic manual entries and reduce human involvement and reduce the workflows to submit projects into system for the leadership and stakeholders to review.

Ease of use, best tool for project management. Monday.com manage task on very organized way. For managing and monitoring task and communicating with team member its very streamlined. If you have disorganized team, it can really help to fulfill project in due schedule. Form builder features is productive for any team.

Cons:

I don't find any major problem with it. I want to mention about automation features, for my subordinate, to master it, he face difficulties. They need to introduce more training for amateurs.

Best tracking project app for construction companies

Comments: It is been really good. Sometimes the app is slow, but it does not take that long to come back. It is helping me and my team a lot to track our projects, we are a construction company, so when somebody reach us out over a year that we closed a project complaining about something we can easily review everything that happened in that project just looking through our updates on Monday.

Pros:

I can easily manage my projects using Monday. I can create multiple boards for each contract we have, and have all the projects on my screen at the same time. I can easily track and see everything that is going on with my projects, I can assign people to tasks, I can upload my files directly from dropbox and it is live updated with any change on the file. Monday is really simple and easy to use, it can improve and help you to track your projects. With the updates you do, you can review any project even after a year and see everything that occurred with that project while that time.

Cons:

I think they could improve in the auto assign tasks for the projects. That would improve a lot the workflow of the projects. Also, the app is being slow at least once a week and that is a bad thing about it, because it breaks the workflow.

Comments: I really enjoy all the customizations to make it really organized and visually appealing. It solves my daily tasks pretty well and saves my time for managing and arranging all tasks in one place.

Pros:

It enables me to seamlessly monitor the progression of ongoing projects and the performance of various tasks.

Cons:

It can sometimes be little slow but its easy to create tasks and timelines.
