Primarily, it saves the last filters used when a supervisor logged in, which can cause confusion the next time they log in, if they don't reset the filters. It is an added training step on our end for our users, because it's not intuitive that it saves the last filters... they just think the info is missing.

> We are still learning all the functionality available to us, but we've gotten great feedback from our users about how much they enjoy it\!
