Very poor software
Comments: Very poor. Everytime I use it something else isn't working correctly and it has negatively impacted my business.
Pros:
That I can use the app and book appointments on my phone
Cons:
Software crashes or freezes regularly. Payients often unable to book appointments or pay their deposit. Unable to take payments at times. Unable to use the prescription function at times. Support slow to respond and never aknowledge that pabau are at fault.

The customer service has been excellent. All the staff members have been very helpful.
Cons:
Pabau is different from other platforms. I can add everyhting as photos for my clients/patients.

Comments: Good I like the report's it gives about the clinic insights. How it gives you a note history, leads area. Its a lot easier than paperwork.

Comments: I’ve only ever had positive interactions with Pabau and the team supporting my business. They’re invested in helping my business be the best it can be by offering regular contact, video meetings, email updates and training. I had a video call with [sensitive content hidden] this morning and he’s updated my account to maximise my experience.
Pros:
They’re proactive about getting to know you as a customer and strive to ensure they are doing the best for your business.
Cons:
Currently not found anything I dislike about Pabau.

Comments: I have not had any complaints about Pabau. As Pabau has everything I need to keep track of clients medical needs as well as previous experiences with their treatments.
Pros:
When using Pabau, I can take clear images, as well as keep clear records on clients to ensure we are providing them with accurate treatments.
Cons:
When there is an update, you are logged out of the app.

Comments: I like Pabau as there is lots of support
Pros:
There are many features and I am still working my way to optimising all of them. Pabau has literally thought about everything.
Cons:
It can be a bit tricky in comparison to other interfaces but the more you interact the better it gets and the more features you find
Alternatives Considered:
Excellent system for medi clinics with updated features all the time.
Pros:
I like the team behind it they have always been very helpful and responsive. The technology is always improving and I have seen massive improvements in the last year or so which has benefited my business immensely. The training webinars they have are amazing!
Cons:
Some features are more difficult to get to grips with or don’t work as well as planned. Mostly integrations.

Not for medical businesses
Comments: Software is ok but I don't think it's suitable for a serious medical business. Sometimes they mix up data so there is GDPR issue.
Pros:
Lots of features covers everything that you need for marketing Reports are very good and flexible
Cons:
Takes ages to load Lots of features but lots of them breaks and not working properly Support - it takes ages for them to understand your issue and ages to reply. They ask same questions again and again, Too many technical issues at the moment and they are struggling to fix

Hi Richard - we serve over 2000 medical businesses world-wide, are HIPPA and GDPR compliant, and we have isolated databases, so the idea we can have a mix up, is simply not true. We often find that 'issues' are 99% of the time caused by staff not going through the full academy, via academy.pabau.com so please encourage everyone to do so. You can raise tickets via our ticketing system mytickets.pabau.com - but from looking at your interactions, it seems like you expect a more dedicated response, which can be easily achieved by upgrading to an account manager. https://pabau.com/account-manager/
Alternatives Considered:
Impossible to set the system up and no access to support
Comments: pretty shady so far. They took my existing customer data quickly but since then I can't get up and running on a system that I am being charged for.
Pros:
I loved the demo and it appeared to do everything I wanted but there are some serious concerns at this stage. 1. So far the company has charged me over £600 and cannot supply a VAT invoice. 2. I have been trying to access support all week and no one has been able to resolve the issue. 3. The dashboard is different to the video learning films 4. When I signed up I said that I wanted access to support staff to help me configure it. So far there is no response.
Cons:
It seems shady. You have no idea where the staff are located - they work weird hours and the answers I have which are genuine support questions are not being answered. I can't even get a call booked in which was part of the "GOLD" onboarding package I signed up to.

Hi Ruth, Kane here, the guy you had a meeting with last week. I must say I am dissapointed to see your review which has subsequently caused other people not to proceed with the software, when in fact, the team have been on hand to help you - and the main issue was your own router was blocking access to the terminal. I checked the onboaridng with the Onboarding manager and the emails that you have been sent would have contained all the links you needed to book in with our team at the relevant time. In a world where reviews mean to much, I do think to be called shady is not a fair especially as you had not completed the academy which is requested. As I said to you last week, my team are at your full disposal to get setup, and hopefully you will be able to leave a more considered review when you have completed the onboarding and are fully setup. I should also note VAT invoices are always available on request, if you email [email protected] they will resend it. Kane

Getting better......
Comments: Mixed bag. When it's good, it's great (just got into using the online Questionnaires and Consents, which were nowhere near as daunting as I thought they would be). The focus on client service has also greatly improved in recent times - the operators genuinely try to help, and are polite and courteous. The training webinars are a great idea too.
Pros:
The integration of various facets of running our practice.
Cons:
The down times, or the times when it lags significantly, which occur too often. Also, the basic SLA terms are limited, and even the more advanced SLA you can pay for only gives a certain (and fairly small) amount of cover. But of ocurse that wouldn't matter if there weren't downtimes, or slowness.

The benefits of Pabau
Comments: The Pabau system allows us to carefully target our marketing, provide an excellent service to our patients and staff find the on-line training modules very helpful. Their customer support service is outstanding.
Pros:
The Pabau system is uniquely positioned in the aesthetics industry to deliver an easy to use diary, marketing and accounting system.
Cons:
When there are glitches in the system it seems to take ages to solve it and we never receive any discount for days that are affected

Great clinic software overall
Comments: We are able to easily record clinical data with Pabau, and able to use the CRM function to gain an understanding of our patient demographics. The support is exceptional
Pros:
Ease of use, functionality and useful marketing tools. Support team is very friendly and approachable. The software is feature-rich and the company continues to innovate and push the boundaries.
Cons:
Lack of chat function to be able to communicate in real time with reception and other clinic rooms. This would be a great addition. Lack of integration with my preferred histology lab. The software has gone down a couple of times, which is a real problem as we rely so heavily on it for consent taking and clinical notes. Having a backup in place fro when these outages happen would be good.

Great software - good online training - quick online chat answers
Comments:
In general is good, quick online chat, great online training, system works well and covers a lot of areas needed to work.
It could definitely improve on the way the forms are set up, have more flexibility there. Another area of improvement is again the online chat, making answers more user friendly, not so much it based.
There are still some areas that need some twitching (forms flexibility / prescriptions not linking to inventory / Xero integration) but so far Pabau has showed that they do understand user needs and make sure they react to feedback, hence me doing this today.
Pros:
The way the have been able to ensure that they users learn - the online trainings are really good. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is amazing!
Cons:
Customer support - it is not possible to talk to the developers and that means that customer services responses are fast but limited to repeating what the developers tell them in it terms that are little use to those with no it brains. I was having a problem with Xero integration and the answers I was getting were limited, it took a lot of research from my part to work out what they meant and how to make them work, still there is an error showing up and the answer I got was : "Despite all the errors and information you can see, the system will never sync a Bank Account code full stop." Not helpful at all, I am sure they could do better as I can imagine a lot of people asks these same questions. I could give you a document with the correct steps of how to do it now.

Webinar training
Comments: My overall experience has been very positive and I love the product. It saves me lots of time regarding admin and my patients love it.
Pros:
I paid for the integration and it was worth every penny. It was so super easy. I had great training at the beginning. The system is so clever and does so much that it's worth the money I pay. As a sole trader it has saved me so much time through automation of so many aspects of my business.
Cons:
One of the main reason I joined was to be able to process packages of treatment. I can set them up and assign appointments myself from the packages but I am still unable to allow my patients to do so. I take up front payment and, apparently, that is why. I can't understand, why, if someone has already paid in full, they cannot book appointments from the package they have paid for. No one has managed to answer that. I would love a solution to this issue. I would also like to be able to set my diary up with specific appointments times instead of having to force this by creating off blocks every hour. Creates so much work.

Poor customer service
Comments: Overall Pabau does what it needs to until it doesnt. The software glitches and customer service is appalling. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I have not been able to see my schedule for over 7 weeks and keep being told that it is in the process of being rectified by 'x' date and it does not. I can not speak to anyone and I am stuck. Find a company with better support!

I had used it at a different practice and wanted to stay consistent
Cons:
Pabau has THE WORST customer service. Do not expect to speak to anyone. There is a standard response and issues routinely take 6-8 weeks to rectify. I have had 2 issues in the last two years and both incredibly frustrating- there is no contact person and there is no accuracy to when they will fix a problem. There is no apology and no attempt to help the situation.

Maryam We both know this review is littered with inaccuracies and we communicated on email and showed our team had in fact been more than helpful with your issues. The nature of development is some issues take longer to solve than others based on priority and how many clients are impacted, we are more than happy to deal with clients and work with them to make the system better , but when faced with nothing but lies from someone who supposedly understands how reviews can impact a business it’s surprising you have taken it upon yourself to not only give an inaccurate review, but may put others off by the fact you have downright lied. Pabau 2 is not working properly and causing lots of damage

I was happy with Pabau 1.However Pabau 2 was mandatory for all clinics and I was pushed to change it to it.
The software doesn’t work properly.Emails are disappearing from patients cards,you have to create services couple of time in order them to show in the software.I did create service myself 5 times and it still not possible to add it on the invoice.There are lots times when it is simply just not opening ,you have to reload page 10 times in order it to work.Absolutely horrible software.Contacted customer support lots of times,sent video about issues,since July no improvements.It cause massive disruption at work .Very disappointing.

Pabau 1 was good and easy. There is nothing I like in Pabau 2 because it still needs to have lots of improvement

Pabau after one year
Comments: Overall very good. There are a few elements mentioned above which would bring it into excellent all round for me.
Pros:
I like the ease of moving from clinical notes to photos to appointments to admin - all smoothly transition. Photos are easy to import and show side by side.
Cons:
I would like easier direct entry to fields such as medical history, family history, social history rather than only have it automated from the medical questionnaire form. Investigations are not very developed yet in terms of export of tests / import of results, not much for imaging, and no inbuilt scoring system for things like BMI, CVS risk, dementia screen etc

Pros:
Our company has used pabau software for 2 years. The services Pabau provides our company is first class to the text reminders, to the paperless consent forms and documentation to the online booking - it has given our clinic a professional look and we are very pleased with the system.
Cons:
Customer service support emails take a while to reply (sometimes 3 - 4 days) I have had an existing problem that’s still not been rectified - my consent forms when detailing where I’ve injected on the diagram when saved if I go back in the drawings all my documentation has moved to the right. That you can only use on Apple iPad and can only download from Apple store.

Not blown away
Comments: I'm glad I implemented the system a number of months prior to opening the practice. There is no way Pabau is a 'good to go' system and needs a lot of familiarisation and use to get to know. On the plus side, the customer care is fantastic and they are always happy to try and help, and there has been a lot of questions and technical guidance needed.
Pros:
Relatively easy to use - if you have some coding, CRM, or practice management experience you will probably get by slowly. I most like it for its functionality and the number of integrations available.
Cons:
A lot of items are 'hard coded' making it impossible to customise the way you want it. There are some functions that don't actually work (I raised this and it is being 'looked into' but no ETA for a solve). The system comes across as a bit dated. I like the 'paperless' journey, however, there seems to be an oversight that some practices are still required at times to use paper and export to PDF format with a more aesthetically pleasing format would be beneficial.

Better execution of the basics, customer service very good
Pros:
The customer service is great, I am on the chat most days and have an answer to my questions within a couple of hours. The reminders, pre care and after cares are excellent and the desktop is lovely to use.
Cons:
We use the app and it just does not keep up with Pabau on the desktop, which is a shame as it is what we use the most and this was explained to the agent when Pabau was sold to us. The basics don't always work as they should, clients haven't been getting reminders for over 2 weeks now. Get the basics spot on before implementing any other features I would say.
