It has also become embedded in many teacher prep programs at my university as its features (and staff) have helped strengthen our approaches to video-based reflection in meaningful ways. The timestamped commenting and observation tools help teacher candidates recognize instructional strengths, notice missed opportunities, and engage in deeper reflection than written journals or emailed video clips. Vosaic's intuitive nature has lowered the student and faculty adoption learning curve, and the development/management team has been consistently responsive to my feedback and questions. AI Mate has become valuable as a starting point in identifying key moments for supervisor evaluation and feedback; and my ability to decide when to enable AI Mate for my students is a critical feature that keeps decision-making in my control.
