> **Pros**: Hard to think of anything\! I guess their CEO tried to help us when it became clear that we were getting nothing from the product - he at least got on the phone with us, but was unwilling to hear our feedback and basically just dug in and insisted the tool worked.

> **Cons**: Forecastr says they integrate with quickbooks - our experience showed otherwise. We have Mercury as our banking, and pass records into quickbooks, and Forecastr couldn't import through that path. The team said that it \*was\* doing that, however, even when we could very easily, very quickly show the missing records. The team kept insisting their product worked on calls, and when we showed them it didn't, they just.... said it was doing what they wanted it to do? Anyways we spent $4,000 and ended up spending a bunch of time on calls with these folks and got absolutely nowhere. They refused to refund even when it was clear we got nothing from the product. Pretty wild\!

> **Pros**: The framework that Forecastr employs to build financial models puts it in a league of its own. If you have ever built a financial model in a spreadsheet, you understand the tangled web of relationships between assumptions that quickly become nearly impossible to work with. Forecastr brings those assumptions to the forefront, and gives users the power to effortlessly experiment with those assumptions and understand their downstream effects.

> **Cons**: While very few, there are specific features that aren't always intuitive, or that feel lacking. That said, having the ability to work 1:1 with a Forecastr analyst ensures that I never stay stuck for long, and ultimately am able to customize my model to meet my needs. And, several of the "UX bugs" I've seen have been resolved since I first adopted Forecastr—the team is constantly improving the product.

> **Pros**: I liked thinking about the business and my assumptions rather than how to create what I wanted in Excel. That's the biggest value for me. With Forecastr, you can focus on what you plan to do and when you plan to do it rather than getting bogged down in calculations.

> **Cons**: There were some limitations in the product that required workarounds. But I'm so thankful that I stuck with it. Permissions need to be more granular to allow for other people to work on the forecast without seeing everything. That's a serious feature issue that should be addressed. Forecasting and budgeting is a collaborative effort so we need better permission to enable that collaboration.
