With other construction project management software, what you pay for one year of Smartsheet will get you maybe a week for those other platforms. Recently their redesign of subscription and user types has meant that our Not for profit company goes from $600 per year $4000. With a razor thin IT budget, these kinds of changes to billing are catastrophic with relatively little lead time to transition away. I am finally able to track which portion(s) of the project are truly burning down through the use of the "critical path."
