About Google Calendar
Google Calendar is a scheduling solution that helps users create shareable calendars and schedule team meetings or events.
I like that you can create several calendars for different purposes. I created customer support calendar on Google Calendar while my personal calendar is not messed up.
When creating an event on the web version, if you accidentally click elsewhere, the event creation pop-up disappears, along with the info you've already put in.

Google Calendar is my preferred platform for scheduling and organizing my life
Comments: Google Calendar is my default and preferred calendar platform for both work and my personal life. I especially like the ability to blend both and see everything in one place.
Pros:
Google Calendar is easy to use, and I especially like the ability to share my calendar both personally and professionally with different levels of authority, including just viewing and able to make changes.
Cons:
Google Calendar doesn't always get along well with Apple Calendar and that's a problem sometimes.
Alternatives Considered:
Best calendar solution
Comments: That's the best calendar solution in my opinion.
Pros:
Easy to use, works flawlessly on all Android devices and web browsers. I also like the ease of sharing calendar with others.
Cons:
The data mining by Google, but that's the price of the free software.
Calendar App
Comments: Great untill new update, now horrible, will now try and find other options for all google apps.
Pros:
Ease of use.
Cons:
New phone- did not transfer any info more than 2 years old, lost all prior medical appt's. No warning to back up
Helper Calendar
Comments: Overall experience is excellent. Because it is so easy to entered the data you need in google calendar especially if you signed in your account in your phone.
Pros:
It gives me early notification about my duties and appointments that I entered to my google calendar.
Cons:
I have to be signed in my phone to get notified. The bad things happened when the battery of the phone goes out of charge.
Alternatives Considered:
Google Calendar is a must - simplicity, functionality, elegance.
Comments: Google Calendar is an everyday, all the time app for me. It's a lifesaver. I couldn't function without it. So simple to use, very elegant in design and functionality. Just the most straightforward calendar product I've ever used.
Pros:
It's very simple to setup and use. It syncs easily across all devices (either with native apps on mobile, or through a browser on PC). Additional functionality has been added recently that can help you find a time that works for all attendees and automatically create virtual meeting links. I literally could not function at work or outside of it with Google Calendar. I am able to color code my events and the automatic reminders are lifesaving. The month-view helps me plan weeks ahead and gives me a view of what's coming up.
Cons:
I wish it integrated with Zoom a little cleaner - the integration with Google Meet is obviously flawless, but we utilize Zoom or Teams at work.
Manage business and personal schedule easily
Comments: Great for calendar management, appointments, reminders, tasks, etc
Pros:
Simple diary management with integrations to popular scheduling and conf apps. Merges personal and business calendars for overall availability and scheduling
Cons:
sometimes feels difficult to import events, but not a big issue
Alternatives Considered:
Google Calendar-Easy Peasy
Comments: Google Calendar is easy to use, making it efficient for managing tasks.
Pros:
It is straightforward to use. I always feel that Google is made for idiots. Anyone can figure it out!
Cons:
If your settings are not set to private, everyone will be able to see your calendar.
Google Calendar is the best calendar app that has the most integrations
Comments: I was initially using the Apple Calendar app, but since using GCal, I've moved over and never used the apple calendar again. It has been intuitive, efficient, and so simple. I've never had an issue with it. Even when integrating with other platforms or apps.
Pros:
The straightforwardness of the UI, easy integration with a lot of SaaS platforms and having standalone apps for all my devices (phone, laptop, tablet)
Cons:
Nothing, quite honestly. It does what it does, and it does it well.
Best Calendar for Meetings
Comments: Overall, I would choose Google Calendar over anything else. It keeps me organized.
Pros:
I like Google calendar because you can easily schedule meetings and maintain your entire schedule in one place with options for events, tasks etc. Meetings through Google calendar are also very simple and efficient. My favourite place to hold meetings. It also has an app.
Cons:
There used to be more functions in the events/tasks. One of my favourites was removed and just converted into tasks. The phone app also has a hard time integrating with my laptop. For example, if I delete an event out of my phone, sometimes it still appears on my laptop and has to be deleted twice.
Easy to use calendar
Comments: I manage all of my meetings in one place and also can add in events, to-do's, tasks, etc.
Pros:
I use Google calendar every day. I have multiple gmail accounts and all of the calendars sync in one place. Very convenient.
Cons:
I haven't come across anything I don't like so far. It's pretty easy to use.
Alternatives Considered:
Another reliable, integrative Google product
Comments: Overall i have had a positive experience using Google calendars. I don't miss an engagement and I fully trust and rely on Google calendar's ability to function without fail day after day.
Pros:
I mostly like how predictable and simlle itcis to usecGoogle calendar. I find it very useful that I can color code different imported calendars to make viewing my week a breeze.
Cons:
I didnt really care for the limited space available to display Google calendar and my appointments on my mobile phone. I can always click in the scheduled dates to fully see the details but i sometimes wish i could see more about what I scheduled when glancing at my mobile phone.
Highly useful, intuitive calendar management
Comments: I find Google Calendar very useful, simple to use and easy to onboard new staff and users.
Pros:
Simple to understand and navigate, simple to teach to new users
Cons:
I wish Apple reminders could sync with Google Calendar. Or, Google Tasks were an app Siri could manage with voice commands as the Apple Reminders is. I use reminders all the time and it'd be great if for work (where I use Google Workspace) I could use voice to text for Tasks.
Google Calendar Review
Comments: Overall experience is good. The color coding works great for the differnt types of appointments I have. I can have a quick visual snapshot of my day.
Pros:
Easy to access from anywhere. Color coding appointments. The ability to add a tsk while in the calendar screen is very helpful.
Cons:
User interface is a bit clunky. creating an event has too many variables. The calendar will automatically send invites even when I am not ready for them to be sent.
google calender daily usage review
Comments: good overall experience it's fast and updates wellwhen people accept meetings. could be better when trying to view 5+ peoples calendars but maybe I'm asking too much
Pros:
being able to create meetings withing the calendar
Cons:
not great to be able to see other peoples availability as the user flow is a bit odd
Streamlining Productivity: My Positive Experience with Google Calendar
Comments: My overall experience with Google Calendar has been very positive. It’s incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to schedule and manage events. The ability to share calendars with team members has significantly enhanced our collaboration, allowing everyone to stay informed about meetings and deadlines. I appreciate the integration with other Google tools, which streamlines our workflow. The reminders and notifications help keep us on track, and the option to set up recurring events saves a lot of time. Plus, the accessibility from any device means we can stay organized whether we’re in the office or on the go. Overall, it has greatly improved our productivity and communication within the team.
Pros:
Google Calendar allows team members to share calendars, making it easy to coordinate meetings and events. This transparency helps everyone stay on the same page. The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate, which helps employees quickly find and manage their schedules.
Cons:
I dont have any that I see. Sometimes it does not sink as well with people who use outlook for email.
Intuitive Calendar and Event Management
Comments: I am a big Google fangirl, and utilize the Google Workspace and Calendar daily, so I can easily rave about the easy functionality and how super intuitive the workspace, calendar, and general flow are. Google Calendar helps keep my day easily organized.
Pros:
I absolutely love Google Calendar and how intuitive it is. It allows us to combine our personal calendars with our organizations calendars for simple, easy-to-organize, functional event and business calendar management. We have several studios, rehearsal halls, and meeting rooms constantly in rotation and function, and allowing the cross-management of all calendars, we are able to keep our business running smoothly.
Cons:
I am honestly a huge fan of the Google Calendar, so there isn't much I don't like. Perhaps a bit more customization for personal needs would be a nice addition? (Theme, colors, fonts, etc.) But that's a nuanced criticism.
Great calendar for company use
Comments: Google calendar is great as you can create shared calendars and colour coordinate them, so certain team members can see the same calendar as you. It also has a reminder function for any upcoming meetings, or google meets meetings. Very user friendly and useful for companies with employees in different offices/working remotely
Pros:
Google calendar is great as you can create shared calendars and colour coordinate them, so certain team members can see the same calendar as you. It also has a reminder function for any upcoming meetings, or google meets meetings. Very user friendly and useful for companies with employees in different offices/working remotely

It is hard to find any flaws with this calendar system, it has worked great for our use and company.
Google Calendar has saved my life!
Comments: I have a great experience with Google Cale dar, and I highly suggest it for any business owner who needs a way to keep their schedule in order and on track.
Pros:
There are so many pros when it comes to Google Calendar. 1. Its FREE 2. Allows multiple profiles 3. Allows real time scheduling 4. It sends reminders for stuff you have coming up 5. Makes it so I'm not over booking myself and losing customers
Cons:
I don't think I have anything bad to say about google calalendars because honestly it has saved my life and my business. No more losing out because I over booked myself.
Awesome scheduling/ availability/ meeting rooms booking tool
Comments: Best-in-class experience when it comes to organizing/ scheduling remote, hybrid, or on-site (meeting rooms) sessions in a simple manner.
Pros:
The integration with Cisco Webex is perfect. The easy way to schedule meetings and check the availability of all attendees. The auto-complete/ suggested invitee names make it way easier to schedule a meeting for a large number of people. The Admin options to customize and manage physical meeting room features and the way those are made visible to the users who are eligible to book those rooms. The overall integration with the Google Suite/ Apps ecosystem is great.
Cons:
I have not identified any issues or room for improvement throughout the years I've utilized G-calendar.
Indispensable in Managing a Family
Comments: Using Google Calendar has made my family's life more efficient and organized. My spouse and I share our calendar views and make sure we are both present for our children.
Pros:
The cost of the plan is the most attractive part for me.
Cons:
It is difficult to configure the setting options to make data entry efficient.
Google Calendar keeps me organized
Comments: I’ve been using Google Calendar for years now. I’ve used it with all my clients, for work, personal, social media, and school.
Pros:
I love Google Calendar. I love the syncability it has. I can add all my important calendars for work, business, events, home, family, personal, etc. I can color code and see everything in a month’s glance. I love that it has an app as well. Makes it so much easier to use on my phone and tablet. All of my clients usually use Google Calendars as well so it makes it easy for us to sync calendars and dates. You can add links for Zoom, Skype, and other platforms for meetings, classes and more. Add addresses for specific places so you can tap and get directions to where you’re going.
Cons:
I wish there were a few more color options for an even more customized calendar but other than that I love it.
Google Calendar: Consider it Done and Done!
Comments: It's a great way to simplify your life, manage business and personal matters and collaborate with others in terms of scheduling. I recommend it for a range of users regardless of their technical skill level as there is still a great deal of usability for any level. While it doesn't check ALL the boxes in the area of scheduling and time management, for a free tool, it's extremely robust.
Pros:
I like the ease of integration with 3rd party apps, functionality, standard and advanced features that are customizable and compatible, the ability to share calendars and manage multiple calendars easily. It makes staying organized a cinch as it's very user friendly and the fully customizable reminders are also a huge plus.
Cons:
The biggest concern I have is matters of privacy due to the wide range of access to confidential information and contacts and also the volume of targeted marketing ads leaves cause for pause. In terms of competitors, I do believe it still provides better security than most.
Get organized with Google Calendar
Comments: I love Google Calendar and use it daily. It is one of the first things that I check in the morning because I live most of my life by my calendar, so having it up to date is important. I also love the ability to use other calendars that can sync with Google Calendar so easily.
Pros:
I love how easy it is to add events to the calendar, invite relevant parties, and find a time that works without the back and forth. Another thing I love about Google Calendar is how easy it is to add notes, attachments, locations, etc. Google Calendar makes it easy to stay organized.
Cons:
One thing that frustrates me with the calendar is that I would like to have a buffer between all meetings and I can't set that up for some reason. I hate when people have a link to my calendar yet there is no buffer set.
Easy and convenient
Comments: Google calendar has made running my life a lot easier from important meetings, client sessions, to self time, blocked off work hours, and events with the kids. Google calendar has made keep track of all of it simple and convenient.
Pros:
It is easy use. I also like that google automatically uploads events into my calendar from my emails and some text messages.
Cons:
The ability to link multiply accounts or calendars into one is a bit difficult and could use some work.
The maestro of my time manager.
Comments: Google Calendar makes scheduling conflicts a thing of the past, reduces missed appointments and opens up mental bandwidth that I once used to juggle my diary by providing a reliable single source of truth for managing my time.
Pros:
Google Calendar stays updated on all my devices so that everything remains in sync.I really liked its intuitive interface, color-coded calendar system, and how well it integrated with other Google services like Gmail and Meet.
Cons:
Google Calendar is great for beginners, but thanks to its premium-for-power-users nature, it lacks heavy-duty task-management tools that go beyond straightforward scheduling and integration with to-do list services tends to be shallow at best.
