Easy to Use

Comments: Our Account Manager is friendly and very attentive.

Pros:

Many assessment choices over a wide variety of topics. It has proven very accurate, as the skill levels reflected in the tests are right in line with candidates' capabilities after they start a new position.

Cons:

Nothing stands out. It is easy to use, or to find reports whenever needed.

Comments: Has been great, we recommend EmployTest to other companies frequently!!

Pros:

Ease of access. Ease to send out tests to 1 or more candidates. How the results are returned.

Cons:

Switching from old portal to new portal, just required some additional coaching from EmployTest team to ours, to understand the impacts, considerations, new processes.

Pros:

Easy deployment to those who are taking the assessments remotely. Also like the "al la carte" so we can use what we need vs a contract.

Cons:

I think there could be more variety of assessments. I think the behavioral tests could be more advanced. Also would like to be able to view all of the questions prior without having to use a token.

Best Online Assessments for Candidates

Comments: We had an excellent experience using this employment assessment test service for screening potential new hires. The service was efficient, user-friendly, and priced competitively. Their team was incredibly responsive, addressing any questions we had promptly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable solution to evaluate candidates effectively.

Pros:

Great Value and Consistent Results

Pros:

Employ Test provides us a baseline to compare prospective candidates against eachother. We know what scores have provided positive results in previous hires and it allows us to compare new candidates using those same metrics.

Cons:

I didn't like when the price increase happened but I understand the value the test brings.

HR Recommended

Comments: Helps a lot with screening applicant’s skills.

Pros:

Ability to offer the test remotely for pre-screening of applicants.

Cons:

Cost is slightly pricey, but easy to use.

Time saver that doesn't cut corners

Pros:

The system is incredibly easy to use. The library of tests is fairly extensive. Our team felt confident using these and it saved a lot of time for HR and the hiring manager. AND great customer support.

Cons:

This was not a deterrent for our team, and was resolved quickly. There were a few issues with the initial setup of our account that delayed our ability to launch tests. However, the customer support team was extremely helpful and worked to get this resolved right away. She even stayed on the phone while I checked (and double checked) that we had the access necessary, tests would launch, etc.

Comments: The experience with the Customer Service Reps was very pleasant. They took time to explain the test results. and they were very patient with me.

Pros:

I did not understand the result of the test. It takes a little time

A successful trial of Employtest so far

Comments: The experience has been positive so far. We are going to trial a few additional tests to decide if this is a tool we will use going forward.

Pros:

The tests are easy to administer and quite clear in what they cover.

Cons:

It was hard to tell initially how the levels worked. I assumed I could select a test e.g. Microsoft office and then the level within that test.

Comments: It was good. Better than what I have tried to use in the past.

Pros:

It was great to be able to use something that was already created. It saved me hours of time.

Cons:

As I stated in another field, I wish we could actually create some of the questions and manipulate it a bit better. We use it for training purposes, not for hiring people.

Pros:

EmployTest is easy to use, pricing is transparent, all tests are available to be used, and it explains the questions that were asked.

Cons:

EmployTest is really helpful for recruiting, I do wish that the due date was more clear to candidates.

Comments: Excellent; we will be back for our next hire.

Pros:

The skills assessments were reasonably thorough, interpretation of the results easy and offered reassurance when comparing and selecting candidates.

Cons:

The Elite Skills Profile could have been a bit more thorough in its range of questions, however, it was a reasonable assessment for a key administrative position that requires a wide range of skills.

Add another tool to your recruiting arsenal.

Comments: It's been a good experience and I like having a tool that is not subjective in evaluating candidates skills.

Pros:

I like the ease of deployment to candidates after I explain the product and time to complete it. I also like the immediate results upon completion.

Cons:

I wish you could search by name for past candidates in the reporting. It is often difficult to search for past results.

Very user friendly and dashboard is clean and clear not overwhelming.

Customized Test

Pros:

[sensitive content hidden] was very helpful, adaptable and responsive. She was able to create a customized test for kitchen manager candidates after giving her what I wanted it to look like.

Cons:

Would have liked a fill in the blank/type in answer component but I realize there were parameters that Angela had to work within.

Great Product

Pros:

EmployTest has really helped my organization identify qualified candidates when we're looking to really narrow down the candidate pool. The results are very easy to read.

Cons:

Every time I purchase new tokens, I have to reach out to support to apply my tokens to our account. I recently purchased tokens an hour ago and its still not visible on our account which is frustrating.

Excellent Test for Microsoft Suite of Products

Comments: Excellent service, tenure employees that you can speak with them directly as opposed to a chat.

Pros:

Ease of use, variety of test and they keep up with the latest versions of Microsoft Office Suite of Products.

Cons:

I haven't found anything at this point.

Comments: Not only is the product of great quality, but the level of customer service and partnership I receive from my Rep at Employ Test is of the highest standard.

Pros:

Very easy to use, integrated seamlessly with my ATS.

Great Product - A few functional flaws

Comments: The customer service through EmployTest is some of the best I've ever seen! [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is our Account Manager and she always responds quickly and helps me out with any issues that I experience. She is truly top tier!

Pros:

I love how easy it is to send tests to my hiring candidates, the platform is easy to use from the employer side, and results are returned to me quickly. I also like how comprehensive the assessment reports are.

Cons:

I have had candidates reach out to me who have had issues with the Word-Excel-Outlook 2016 test. The platform does not accept shortcuts, so it is common that candidates do not know the formal process of a function in Excel and miss points on the question because of it.

EmployTest Feedback

Pros:

I really enjoy using this software to review our incoming candidates. It gives us an ideal of their skill set and what they can bring to our organization. Our account contact responds very quickly to any questions that may arise.

Cons:

I do not like the timing out feature. I'm constantly having to login all the time. I also miss the previous lay out of the dashboard when you login.

Valuable Tool

Comments: The assessments help me to identify candidates who meet the qualifications.

Pros:

The variety of assessments is very important because the types of positions I recruit for is varied.

Cons:

The function of sending out the assessment letter to candidates is confusing. I think the letter itself needs to be cleaned up.
