"Complete and user friendly"

Pros: For an international company, Lever is a great help as we have been able to automate a lot of steps (interview scheduling, job offer,) in our recruitment process as well as to monitor the recruitment activity across countries (by pulling the records of activity).
As previously said, the automation is a big factor for companies, we have been able to standardize our interview process and feedback system across 10 different countries. The support team also proposed to contact recruiting partners in order to scripted our job postings and publish them on different platforms.

Cons: The time difference with customer support for Europe based companies and the possibility to personalise the information we want to pull in the reports would be a plus.

"Recruiting 3.0"

Comments: Keep up the great work and I hope I have a chance to see your evolution over the years!

Pros: Incredible customization and ability to build a conscientious process through the tool. Great people that are excited about and love their product.

Cons: Its a young product and there are some deficiencies around it, but all of the new features have been spot on from what I can see. They also only push great code. Nothing they have brought in has been delivered broken.

"Great User-Experience and User-Interface from a Recruiter's perspective"

Comments: Account Managers listen to our issues & work with us to find a solution all the time. They are great partners!

Pros: - The product is intuitive
- Customer support is excellent
- Lots of feature improvements rolled out per year

Cons: - No Mobile Application (using the app via web browser is inconvenient on mobile - a lot of our employees are frequent travelers)
- Scheduling Experience leaves a lot to be desired
- No way to manage confidential requisitions/Job postings

"Lever New User"

Comments: My overall experience with Lever is very positive. I have experienced other applicant tracking systems and this one is much easier to use for the company and the candidate. I would encourage companies to look into this system if they are seeking a different software.

Pros: I like the simplicity of the software. Candidates can easily just upload their resume and it's done. I have heard many complaints before about how tedious it is for people to apply for jobs. This software makes the user experience much easier.
I also like how you can message other people, such as hiring managers, inside the candidates profile to bring awareness to the candidate or something on their profile. That is a cool feature.

Cons: What I like least is that it was sending our emails to candidates spam. It took us a while to figure it out, but we did.

"Lever has made such a positive difference in the recruitment experience for me and my company."

Pros: It is super easy to learn, very user-friendly. I found the help documentation to be very thorough and useful for when I got stuck on trying to figure the system out. My non-recruiter colleagues needed very little training on using the features that they need to use. The implementation specialist that we were set up was great and his trainings were useful and very efficient, given how much info he had to cover. I love the automated email scheduling and the integration with GCal and Gmail.

Cons: The fact that I can't customize the funnel per job has kind of been a mental hurdle for our executive staff to get over. While I can understand the position Lever takes on this, I have had to explain and belabor this point to people in my org many times. It's pretty much the only pain point though!

"Lever is a great product. It is very easy to use and the implementation process is seamless."

Comments: An improved hiring and recruiting process.

Pros: It keeps everything hiring related in one organized, easy-to-use place. Lever provides great visibility around candidates both at a high level and a very detailed level. Lever allows our company to make better decisions when hiring by encouraging feedback and notes around candidates. The tools that are available in Lever are industry-wide best practices, and Lever makes them easy to use and implement.

Cons: The only con (which isn't even truly a con) is that it is a new process, so it takes some effort to get the internal team onboard. This would be true of any product though, and Lever does do an amazing job of providing training resources to make the adoption as easy as possible. My implementation specialist actually trained all of my hiring managers which was a huge help to me!

"100% of Reviews Accounted For, and Counting!"

Pros: I've been using Lever for a few months now, and just the other day I was noticing that in all that time I've been using it I have never lost any of the feedback I was writing. Sometimes I'll start a review immediately after the interview but I won't get a chance to finish it until later than night or a couple days later, so my data are surviving loss of internet, changes between wireless networks, sleeping/hibernating my laptop, etc. and no matter what, when I hit "submit" my full feedback is there. Whatever backend they've got implemented, I am really grateful for it! Zero frustration here.

Cons: I think the thing I like least about Lever so far is the number of emails I get reminding me to submit feedback on a candidate; it's hard for me to be too upset about that, though, because the only reason I get those emails is because of how long I take to submit my review. And as someone who has been waiting on other people to submit feedback before I could extend a job offer, I know how frustrating it is to be waiting on that. So even though I wish I got fewer emails, I wouldn't change the feature, because they do remind me each morning to prioritize Lever feedback.

"One of the best ATS platforms for value and function"

Comments: Overall it's been great, it's just so easy to use, easy to refer, and it's rarely buggy.

Pros: I've used Lever as a hiring manager and as an indivicual contributor, both in sales roles and at Yelp and Gong.io. What I like about the Lever is the friendly UI, search that actually works, and ability to customize work flows for interviewing. Lever makes it easy to refer people as well. There's a lot of ATS options on the market and I've used at least 5 of them now, and have to say Lever is near the top, if not the top. It's not as robust as say a Workday, but it gets the job done.

Cons: Since I'm not in recruiting and have never implemented Lever, I'm not sure I can really say what's not to like. I've heard the down side is Lever intergrates with a lot of systems, but there's not much native capabilities to get very customized, but they intergrate with all the platforms that 90% of tech companies use I think.

"Lever ... the best ATS available"

Comments: I have 17 years recruiting experience and have founded two recruiting firms, consulted for 5 startups in building the recruiting function, and now manage a talent acquisition team for a startup within a Fortune 30 company. I have used most of the major (and some unknown) Applicant Track Systems (Bullhorn, Jobvite, Maxhire, PCRecruiter, SmartRecruiters, to name a few) and none of them help move the pipeline and surface old candidates as well as Lever. Excellent product!

Pros: The ease of use if off the charts. The pipeline-centric UI makes the product very usable with little or no training.

Cons: The user permissions are a bit more complex than they need to be. The job posting service is decent, but could be improved to bring more traffic.

"Lever is very easy to use and roll out to not only recruiters but hiring managers as well."

Comments: quick, fast, hooked into linkedin for ease of use

Pros: Drag and drop resumes in to profiles, LinkedIn plug in, switching candidates into various stages and easily seeing your entire pipeline.

Cons: The data is lacking. It is very hard to pull accurate reports, if one thing changes all the data is thrown off. I found it challenging to be able to show technical interviews vs. recruiter phone screen data as they are all listed as phone interviews.

"Easy to use. Mostly self explanatory. Great support videos and support staff."

Comments: Ease of workflow. Everything needed for tracking applicants is one place.

Pros: Ease of use. I love that there is one menu that takes you to everything. Candidates are easy to review, notifications are purposeful and not too intrusive, and it's so easy to train employees how to use. Also having everything integrated with gmail/google cal is incredible! The ability to leave feedback, or review a candidate profile, add notes and a number of other features available to do through email is an incomparable feature, in my opinion. Also, that you are able to book conference rooms and see interviewers availability is absolutely integral to ease of workflow.

Cons: The layout could be a little more user friendly. I wish I could see interview booking details in the same place as the feedback. Also, the easy book feature, while great in theory, still has some issues to be resolved, though the availability of the feature itself is still pretty great.

"Lever is a solid ATS that is currently meeting all of our needs"

Comments: Integrates well with our external careers site and mode dashboards to allow for further analysis of collected candidate engagement data. Generally very solid and reliable as a single source of truth for all candidate management processes

Pros: solid and reliable (which is what you need when you have a large user base and many candidate profiles processed through the tool)

Cons: When glitches occur troubleshooting can be slow as the support is not as responsive as with some other companies.

"I've used Lever before and I like the simplistic organization of it all."

Comments: Applicant tracking, organization, clear communication, and collaborative screening.

Pros: I like the ability to delay email responses and I like the options to customize the entire process. E-mail templates, feedback forms, applications, and the integrations are all great.

Cons: The new features need work. Easy-book doesn't allow for total control of scheduling. Offer letter creation is quite complicated and involves a lot of work if your offers are complex and different each time. Lastly, not everyone is a fan of the interface.

Comments: Customer reps are exceptionally great and deserve much praise.

Pros: Everyone from the implementation specialists to the account managers are incredible to work with. They are quick to respond, resolve, and always happy to help. The ATS is simply laid out, easy to use, and has more than enough features to make you more efficient.

Cons: The biggest con is not having a mobile app. Using Lever on a mobile device is quite limited, and if you request the desktop version, it is not easy to scroll around. This could be massively improved.

"Lever is awesome and helped our team scale & get organized quickly and effectively."

Pros: Lever is a fantastic platform, and has helped our team tremendously with making hiring decisions and streamlining our processes. Lever has a super intuitive design (pipeline visibility is very clear at a distance), it integrates well with our other platforms, and it's built to support recruiting at every stage of the process. I love the customizability of the feedback forms, and scheduling is super easy as well. I've also really appreciated the customer service and overall implementation support I've received with Lever; their team is super helpful and I've always had my questions answered quickly.

Cons: It's a little pricey, but it's also a fairly powerful tool and the price is mostly justified. There are some parts of the software that aren't totally customizable upfront (pipeline stages, parts of feedback forms), but there's pretty good reasons why that isn't the case, and the customer support team can help with those fixes. There's some functionality that still needs to be developed, but I can only see the software improving over time.

The software allows everyone to collaborate with each other and the customer support/set up team was awesome. They were highly engaged and were always on hand to assist me. Loved the customer support and sales team from the first day I contacted them to the end of the set up process. They were very friendly and helpful. Lever truly wants you to succeed and offers many tools to support you. The software program also integrates with many other systems to help streamline the hiring process. I would highly recommend this recruiting tool to anyone out there. Our dedicated Implementation Specialist was a tremendous help and always available to answer my questions. The customer representative who showed me the demo and helped "seal the deal" was super informative and ensured I was comfortable with each step of the process. Great product, great support, and great team to work with. I am super excited to continue partnering with Lever! Thank you for all your help.

Pros: Ease of use

Cons: Design dashboard is dull. Could be more vibrant or colorful but this issue is minimal in the bigger scheme of things.

"Most intuitive and easiest ATS I have come across"

Comments: Overall I had a very positive experience during the implementation. I worked with Phil Golding who was always professional and knowledgeable although at times as a client we had some unusual requests which even I who has implemented a few of these in corporate entities, were not expecting from stakeholders.

Pros: The simplicity and logic behind the tool is great as that is exactly what a hiring process should be, simple! The automation of the tool as well makes the process and experience for both the candidate and the hiring community nice and simple.

Cons: When implementing there were some limitations to the code to take the bespoke nature further with our careers site. Although I understand the protection and the team do work closely with the client during an implementation, it would always be helpful to allow more bespoke approaches.

"The best ATS I've found"

Comments: Having past experience from using Lever, I knew it was my go-to ATS when I started my own recruitment company. Although not originally intended for external recruitment agencies, I find it to be a useful tool for our work as well – as a result we might not use all the features (e.g. the agency platform), but for all intents and purposes it's the best tool I've found. Customer service has been great, the only downside being that as there's no local support in Europe, we usually have to wait until the next day to get a reply. Not a big issue, but worth noting anyway. If you want to customize the recruitment pipeline steps and archive reasons you can't do it yourself, so in that sense it's not the fastest tool to modify on the go. Still, it's a great tool overall!

Pros: - Ease of use
- Useful features
- Customer service
- Integrations and extensions

Cons: - No local support in Europe --> takes a while to get replies to queries
- Customization has to be done through Lever support, can't update the recruitment pipeline or archive reasons by yourself
- The job ads created through Lever don't look very nice

"Mostly good"

Comments: This is a pro and a con - When processing a candidate for a role, it's good to be able to have visibility of what stages they're at with other roles they've applied to. But then it becomes a bit annoying when trying to process them for one role, but having to either decline or progress them for any other roles they've applied for, even if they aren't your roles.

Pros: - I like the way Lever processes candidates (pipeline). It's straightforward to use.
- Great visibility of candidate notes.
- It's fast at updating across the system, good synchronisation.
- I like the way the feedback works between Outlook/hiring managers email.
- New interview feature to show if hiring managers have accepted their interview invitations.
- We like that it integrates with DocuSign and Outlook, and the chrome extension for LinkedIn.
- It's cloud-based so we can log in from anywhere.
- Evan is awesome

Cons: - We can't use bullet points in Offer forms because they don't format correctly in the final contract.
- Formatting of job description (can't do bullet points)
- It's challenging for hiring managers to find the 'approve' button when offer approval emails come through (it's at the bottom of the email and then it's not clear when they open the candidate's profile.
- Could have more use of colour coding.
- Hiring managers keep their access to individual profiles after their jobs have closed (then managers complain about receiving too many notifications)
- There should be multiple Offer forms (for each of our locations for e.g.)

"Great ATS for a small HR team"

Comments: Our initial talks with Lever before selecting the ATS as well as our implementation process could not have been easier and more enjoyable! Ever member of our team was available to answer questions and walk us through the process and troubleshoot any roadblocks (though there were not many!)

Pros: Lever provides valuable insights for a small HR team lacking a dedication recruiter. We were able to streamline our process, implement standardized feedback forms, and more easily communicate with candidates at every step of the process. We love having a single source of truth and know that Lever will be able to grow with our team.

Cons: The reporting feature is a little daunting but that's mostly because my team has never had an ATS before, so this is all new to us! The upcoming additional data visualizations in reporting I think will make this transition easier for me and my team.

"Great Data-Driven ATS"

Comments: ATS that cares about people.

Pros: Switched from a no-reporting ATS to Lever and it has been such a wonderful experience so far. The whole tool is built with candidates and candidate experience in mind. I honestly cannot imagine going back to how we used to work. Working with candidate profiles is intuitive and fast - especially with the newest feature CV Review. The Chrome extension makes sourcing on Linkedin a breezy. Our account manager during closing the deal was absolutely lovely - she was a great support in pitching the proposal to the business and getting us the best price we could afford. Thanks, Lo!

Cons: I'm gonna have to say customer support. Issues are rarely resolved on the first try - they also work US hours only which makes it really hard to fix critical issues on day 1. Lately there have been more issues with the platform than before. Though Lever sent an email about it, why it happened and how they will ensure it doesn't repeat in the future.
