Growing into a solid partnership

4.0 last month New

Comments: I've invested a lot of time and energy into this product and at times felt frustrated by design limitations, glitches and earlier struggles to be heard and understood by the Wisetail team. Having said that, I've felt that the support and product updates have improved significantly from those early days. I've used other products that have grown stale and failed to keep up with the needs of their clients. I truly believe Wisetail is striving to do better. Frankly, I don't want to start over again with someone else, and they've demonstrated a commitment that I feel largely justifies the partnership.

Pros:

This LMS provides a flexible platform design to meet a variety of learning environments. We've used the custom editing tools, SCORM upload, quiz creation, gamification and certification tools, and utilize a number of the provided reports. Over time the support staff have become much more responsive to our needs and addressing needed fixes.

Cons:

While there is some level of customization, we have definitely hit up against limitations. Size and placement of images can be an issue, The quiz function doesn't allow sequential or matching. You can schedule reports and filter the content, but some content can't be removed and it's a csv file, so I have to clean up the file before sending to stake holders every week. We've used this product for nine years and have struggled through its evolution. It's mainly geared towards restaurants and environments that track ongoing skill testing, neither of which match ours. When using SCORM, we do have hiccups with modules not displaying complete. Finally, the develops test and develop the design to Chrome, and since Windows machines default to Edge, that also sometimes creates a poor user experience. When we did a major update in 2019, Wisetail did not offer a seamless migration. Everything had to be re-created by hand.

PlayerLync Review

3.0 6 years ago

Comments: I enjoyed using PlayerLync and also being the individual who rolled it out to my entire region within Lincoln Property Company. I think it is a great tool and overall very user friendly. I think a few bugs could be worked out but other than that I like the tool.

Pros:

The software is easy to use and very mobile friendly. I like the ease of the system and how it functions with a user that has ever used it before.

Cons:

There tend to be a lot of glitches with the integration between the end user and the admin. And when we called customer service they usually knew about the problem but never shared it with us until we found out ourselves.

Comments: Their tech and customer experience team work very well together. I never feel like we don’t have resources when something isn’t working or we can’t figure out how to do something.

Pros:

We have the ability to really cater to a user’s experience. Their technology allows for detailed permissions. Plus we love that it can really be a one-stop shop for communication, compliance, development and daily task assignments.

Cons:

New features inside the platform usually have some hiccups for several months.

Comments: I’ve enjoyed Wisetail so far. I think there are opportunities to make it better but for now it’s good.

Pros:

All the features it has. It’s a robust system with tons of capabilities

Cons:

The constant IT glitches and the reporting. I wish the reporting was better and easier to use. Seems very limited. The app is also quite bad

Mambo Seafood Review

Comments: This is the second company I have implemented Wisetail with. I am a very happy user.

Pros:

Ease of use and setup from the administrator side. Employee engagement through comments, likes and dialogue boards.

Cons:

Sometimes it's hard to get the right formatting when building a module that includes a series of graphics. I would also like Pdfs to have the option to view when scrolling and not be a link to open in a second screen/popout.

New LMS Coordinator Review

4.0 last month New

Comments: When I first started with LMS I was new to this world completely. Wisetail offers great materials to learn from in the Drop as well through the webinars. I have gained a lot of knowledge based off those two sources. So far I am really enjoying the platform, however the deeper I get and the more I want to do I am realizing I want more in depth materials to work with. Or I just have not found a way yet, and in that case I am eager to learn more within Wisetails platform.

Pros:

I enjoy the opportunities and various features to get information out to our team. The creating of modules, being able to add various media, and flashcards have honestly been the best ways our team is getting training done and actually retaining the materials.

Cons:

I wish there were more ways to add more material, especially when buidling pages. I am personally seeking a way to build a newsletter sort of page highlighting the events we attend. I am unable to do much with the news article widget, and ultimately I found the best way to do what I was looking for is banners and text blocks. I was wanting a better way to layout the media in particular. Another thing I am having difficulties on is reporting. I am wanting more individualized or reporting based on various promotion dates.

Pinthouse Review - Dan

4.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: It's been really good. We launched before we had the proper internal infrastructure to maximize it, but as we've been able to sink more time into content creation + oversight, we're really reaping more benefits. Furthermore, the response time on questions has been fantastic, and both me + my coworker have really appreciated [sensitive content hidden] responsiveness and guidance through anything we can't figure out on the Drop.

Pros:

Very easy to use on both the admin and the user side. It's also very easy to troubleshoot and make quick updates on the fly when necessary.

Cons:

Some of the reporting is clunky and non-intuitive. There's still some manual work arounds, which is great, but it would be nice to have a more expansive and intricate reporting mechanism.

Wisetail A Useful Platform

4.0 last month New

Comments: Very good. Reps are very responsive. Feedback from trainees has been very good. We've been able to use training reports in unemployment cases as documentation, so that is very helpful. Reports are robust.

Pros:

Great interface. Much easier to create training courses and run reports than Schoox.

Cons:

There is a steep learning curve and I'd prefer some hands-on training at a reasonable price.

Wisetail Review

5.0 last month New

Comments: Our experience with Wisetail has been exceptional. Their customer service truly sets the standard for excellence, consistently going above and beyond to support us.

Pros:

Wisetail isn't your typical LMS. It offers strong customization options, allowing us to tailor the learning experience to our specific needs

Cons:

A more transparent product roadmap would be a huge win. If Wisetail offered a public roadmap where users could see which feature requests are in the pipeline versus those that might not be prioritized.

Wisetail...BEST in customer service..BEST in class!

5.0 last month New

Comments: My overall experience with Wisetail has been excellent! I always receive amazing Customer Service and enjoyed my one-one's with my account rep. They were kind, patient, and always super helpful and knowledgeable.

Pros:

My favorite part of using Wisetail is that it is intuitive and user friendly! Though, the great customer service I always receive is a close second :)

Cons:

No fault of Wisetail's, but what I like least is that because of the additional cost for some of the features, I didn't get a chance to use some of the amazing ones offered. Specifically the multi-language too. I just know it would have been an awesome additional to our platform!

Simply the Best

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Playerlync makes my job easier. It's the one software that I can count on every single day to work. The very few times I've had to reach out to Customer Service the response times are always immediate.

Pros:

Every piece of content that we publish is always delivered and downloaded to every device. There is no need for users to have to search out and manually download what they need. Everything we publish is critical and it's nice to know that the product works every time. Creating users is extremely fast and efficient. Adding users to specific groups is also a breeze.

Cons:

Great product that we've used for years!

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: We have been using PlayerLync for approximately 10 years and look to continue that partnership for the foreseeable future. In an industry where things need to work properly and work right now, the fact that we haven't needed to look for other solutions for our needs shows how reliable PlayerLync has been for us.

Pros:

PlayerLync provides a secure way for us to share critical, up-to-date information in different formats on a daily basis with our users. The interface and clean and easy to follow. Support is tremendous and always willing to work with us if we have an issue, which is rare.

Cons:

I can't really say there is anything we don't like. There have been phone calls to support for new things we'd like to see added and occasional hiccups with the software, but support has been receptive to all of our ideas and helpful when things have needed fixed.

PlayerLync - A Life-Changing Amenity

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: PlayerLync allows our Owners to have far more flexibility in their schedules. Putting the training onus on the platform and the Trainee frees Owners up to run their business more effectively. They can track training and progress from anywhere - even on their much deserved days off.

Pros:

Ease of use, the app, mobile learning, tracking and reporting, ability to make changes on-the-fly, ability to create and edit forms/courses quickly, Team Members enjoy using it, Owners find it valuable, allows Regional Managers to better facilitate their regions Integration into our business was virtually seamless

Cons:

Programming can be glitchy and not save correctly - have to redo forms sometimes, a HIGH-SPEED internet connection is mandatory, there is functionality that it seems should have developed by now, like bulk editing fields in forms, bolding words, creating bulleted lists in forms, adding PDFs to forms, assign groups and manage teams when first creating users

PlayerLync is changing the culture within our organization. The software and support is amazing!

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: Ease of training, employee retention, and consistency among front line employees.

Pros:

With PlayerLync we have combined LMS, communication, operations manual and important documents all on the I Pad at the location. The data compression allows for countless video and document uploads. Create digital forms, checklists or quizzes that can be tracked and graded within the app. Paper bound manuals and back office PC s are a thing of the pas. Front line employees can get the information they need quickly and consistently. The ability to view short videos instead of reading long, boring documents is changing the way employees learn. The internal messaging feature is awesome, any tablet linked to the system can communicate. Employees can share ideas, solve problems, and communicate easily through two clicks of a button. Uploading content is a breeze. Drag and drop files on the admin site and information is immediately synced to any tablet connected to the system. I can't say enough about how great the support team has been amazing to work with in rolling out PlayerLync in our organization. PlayerLync will do their best to help customize the app to suit the needs of your company. They are always quick to respond and will help with any issues.

Cons:

The multiple choice buttons on forms are set close together. Completed forms are graded but incorrect answers are not highlighted on the completed form weblink.

Great Customer Service, Great product

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: we have had a great experience overall. We have explored various options for best way to use playerlync to best benefit our franchise locations, and have gotten a ton of support while going through everything

Pros:

The customer service is top notch!! Always a pleasure to work with them

Cons:

There is currently no API integration between playerlync and our Operations / POS system . We use playerlync for guest facing forms and it would be great to get the guest info directly into our operations system.
