About SAP Ariba
A unique web-based platform that helps you to buy, sell, and manage cash more efficiently and effectively than ever before.
Still, it integrates nicely with the ERP and keeps all the transactions in sync.
At first it can be hard to navigate the system and get everything set up.

SAP Ariba- the best Procurement automation tool you can have
Comments: Overall, its a great tool to solve all our 3rd party vendor communications. Though it may have a few downsides but still better in the industry.
Pros:
a. Effective lifecycle design for all procurements needs b. The comprehensive capability of encompassing every activity involved in procurement from pre-PO to vendor selection c. Excellent integration with inhouse tools for quick payment processing d. Safe and secure authorization/single sign-in methodology
Cons:
Very slow operations and the UI/UX is difficult to understand, need to put a lot of time to learn, feels outdated. There a bit issues in adding many 3rd party contractors. The capacity needs to be increased.
SAP Ariba works
Comments: Access to clients in SAP Ariba is great, having everything in one platform is a huge win as well.
Pros:
Everything is in one place and not spread across multiple platforms.
Cons:
The functionality is not where it should be. As a new user it is hard to navigate and understand what to do.
SAP Ariba Review
Comments: It was okay. I think there is need for more clearer platform
Pros:
I like that you can see who needs to approve/check or modify an order before finalizing the Purchase Order.
Cons:
I didn't like that some functions or buttons are hard to find
SAP ARIBA ++

Cons:
User interface could be improved and feel better

one of the smoothest ERP systems built. Great!
Cons:
Sometimes theres system lag. Minor issue
Simplified Vendor Management
Comments: It is a robust tool for businesses aiming to optimize procurement workflows.
Pros:
Tracking supplier contracts and payments became transparent, helping us negotiate better deals with vendors.
Cons:
The interface felt outdated in some sections, but the overall functionality is excellent.

Software review
Comments: Overall good experience, software could use an upgrade
Pros:
Simple interface and great third party for work related items
Cons:
It's a bit confusing, there are sometimes many options
Stay away
Comments: worst system ever. System is broken. It is breaking people in my organisation.
Pros:
nothing - everything in the system that I've used is broken. I've had a different problem with every PO I've created.
Cons:
This is the worst software system I've ever encountered and I worked in government for 15 years. It is constantly crashing, the team buying function doesn't work, the system can't cope with changes to POs after they have initially been created. E.g. I want to break 1 payment into multiple at a later date - the system can't deal with this and now I'm left with cranky vendors who can't get their invoice paid. I manage over 30 contracts which are all multi-year. I can't get my colleagues access such that if I'm on leave they can't pay invoices for me. Some POs I've created never got sent to the vendor, even though other POs have gone. There are so many bugs in this system. Stay away from it if you are a large, complex organisation.
Ariba is a nightmare for small business suppliers
Comments: Terrible! I’ve spent many hours on tutorials and setting up my profile for one customer. I would have rather done work for another customer and spent my time more wisely.
Pros:
There is no pro for a small business supplier. It is just a time waster.
Cons:
For a small business owner, run a mile from a customer that requests you to use Ariba. You will spend many, many hours of your time trying to figure this system out, only to land up not being paid with the excise that the PO numbers are somewhere in the system!
Beware
Comments: We have run in to more problems than solutions with Ariba. Again, being able to see the status of invoices and PO's is great, but I dread when I get emails letting me know a new PO is available or when I have to send invoices through this site. I don't ever expect it to work.
Pros:
I like that I can see the status of my uploaded invoices and the status of my customers' purchase orders without having to reach out to the customer.
Cons:
I do not like that this software constantly throws errors and doesn't always process my invoices. Half the time, I don't know whether the invoice was sent or not because it jumps me back to the home screen when I'm mid-way through uploading an invoice. When trying to open purchase orders, I constantly get "exception encountered" error messages and have to reopen the PO's numerous times in order to see them, then cross my fingers that I don't get the "exception encountered" error message again and again when I choose print. The worst part is that we as the customer are forced to pay for this service that rarely works. We have no choice be to receive PO's from this site and to send invoices through this site. Some of our invoices come to ~$35 A PIECE to send! Many customers use sites that are no cost to us that work significantly better than this one.
Extortion
Comments: They're big, they don't give a crap about you. They're great at selling this 'service' to customers, so prepare yourself, as a vendor, to have your 'free' standard account upgraded to a paid account without your permission.
Pros:
Nothing. I hate this software. We use it only because our customers require us to
Cons:
It's awkward and outside of our normal processes. Every customer uses it slightly differently, so you never really get used to what each one needs. Customer support is terrible - and we need to call them EVERY TIME we need to process an invoice in the platform. Worst, though, is that they're charging customers for it - and telling vendors that their account is free. Then, when SAP Ariba signs enough mutual customers, they start charging the VENDOR for a service they hate using. They get paid on both ends of the transaction - even though we're transacting through Ariba under protest. It's extortion, really.
Supplier Lifecycle Performance
Pros:
Supplier can able to upload their documents for vendor registration in Ariba SLP portal
Cons:
Catalogue purchase.CIG Cloud Integration Gateway.
Ariba is a poor system
Comments: One of the most terrible, frustrating experiences and I normally give up any day I have to use it after about an hour on trying to refresh one page.
Pros:
Nothing. Its slow, pages don't refresh properly. Can't upload invoices or see a clients Goods received notification.
Cons:
Nothing its too slow and pages don't refresh
We use this as a supplier. And it's not very friendly
Comments: Little benefits. We use it since our customers use it and we're forced to.
Pros:
You can monitor and capture some request from the customers, receive notifications, process everything online.
Cons:
Is not very user friendly, support is really hard to get, you can't really create reports and search engines are not good. From a supplier's perspective is not very good.
Ariba
Pros:
Ariba is a necessary tool in my job. It was really easy to learn and has a lot of features.
Cons:
Not many issues with Ariba. Sometimes their are glitches but that could be on my company's end and not a true Ariba issue.
KS Review
Pros:
The software was visually appealing and easy to use
Cons:
I have absolutely zero complaints about this software.
The one of the best tool which helps you in managing your procurement cycle.
Pros:
As my company SAP heavy so one thing generally I like about this product is it is smoothly integrated with my existing SAP product.
Cons:
Product/material inspection process should also be the part of this product
Clunky, anything but user friendly and just annoying.
Comments: Who commissioned this??
Pros:
Nothing is intuitive and flows. You will drop off the invoicing page several times for no apparent reason other than entering drop down box information.
Cons:
An hour job becomes this angry ball of frustration from the slow loading of everything to not finding what you need to continual adding the same piece of information several times only when you update for it to be gone and start again. Then after 5 attempts the page reloads by kicking you off.
Hostage situation
Comments: I was incredulous when I learned that we now had to pay a percentage of ALL of our invoices just to collect money for services rendered.
Pros:
Nothing. Bloated functionality based on old coding.
Cons:
Part of the new model of corporate accounting apparently. Charge the vendor for the privilege of sending an invoice.
Great Software for Purchasing Decisions
Comments: Overall in the cloud environment the leading software in this area and a super alternative to on-premise software.
Pros:
Super software for purchasing decisions and the management of suppliers. It is easy to handle tenders and purchasing decisions.
Cons:
The solution is a cloud solution and it does not offer that much opportunity for individual processes and developments.
SAP Ariba very user friendly
Comments: Overall, it has been great to streamline procurement processes and improve supplier management, making it a valuable tool for our enterprise.
Pros:
The user face is more intuitive and easier to navigate than the predecessor R/3. This made for a quick adoption and seamless transition for employees.
Cons:
For a company our size, integrating SAP Ariba with our existing ERP systems required significant IT resources.

Software and hardware upgrades.
Comments:
We replaced most of our research and development equipment 1 year ago, because we need to be constantly updated to be a successful company.
SAP Ariba was the tool we chose to manage the renovation projects to equip the labs in our departments with computers, graphics cards, and virtual reality equipment, helping us to identify suppliers and hardware manufacturers, request quotes, and evaluate the best options according to the standards set by our experts.
It is a well-structured platform with features that facilitate the entire purchasing process.
Pros:
The interface is well designed and although it can be a bit complex and intimidating at first, it is a nice tool that allows for orderly and agile work. It helped us to manage all the necessary renovations to get up to date with the technology, allowing us to search for suppliers to compare specifications and prices. It helped us to ask for quotes and then choose based on concrete data. It allowed us to purchase software and negotiate licenses for our technicians and engineers.
Cons:
Implementation and maintenance costs are high, in addition to customization and configuration costs.
